Just in time for fall! A Fall Noun Sort Printables 2020 Update. This is a great activity to add to a Fall Unit to introduce or review nouns and to get your first graders engaged in language arts.
Fall Noun Sorting Pocketchart Activity and worksheets are great for introducing or reinforcing nouns. Works well in a Fall Unit, Literacy Center or Station, for whole group, small group, early finishers, morning work, struggling learners and to get your first graders engaged in language arts. Worksheets could be used for independent work, for scaffolding your learners, or as assessments. Perfect for special education classrooms.
To use these resources, print headers/cards on cardstock, laminate, and cut out.
Students sort picture cards into Person, Place, Thing, or Animal. Then record their answers on their Response Sheet. Directions are included.
The materials were designed to be used in a pocket chart, so a Fall Noun Sort header is included, along with headers for the 4 sorting columns: person, place, animal, thing. The materials can also be used on a table or floor.
